RVDC Philosophy

We take pride in our ability to offer every student a quality dance education in an atmosphere that develops self-esteem and self-discipline.

Traditional standards and technique are the underlying foundation of our programs. Our staff continues their dance training at teachers' workshops in New York in order to provide up to date teaching, and routines that make every class different and exciting. In addition, several of our staff members are professional dancers performing within the area.

We realize activities can be costly, therefore we offer fundraisers each year. If you choose to participate the profits from your sales can be applied to lessons, shoes, costumes, etc.

We understand that few students will go on to pursue dancing as a career. All young dancers, however, will gain many skills and memories that they will carry with them throughout their lives.

Our season kicks off on Wednesday, September 8th in October we have the Media Halloween Parade and our first "Zombie Prom" scheduled. In November we have been asked to perform in the Ikea's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Brookhaven Holiday Parade. That is just the beginning so check back for more updates.
